DENVER — Why do you live in Colorado?
Local videography and production company Air Ball Creative tried to sum up some of the best reasons in a short film, “Breathless.” The four-minute short was shown at this year’s TEDxMileHigh conference and has been burning up social media ever since.
From Rocky Mountain vistas to raggedy street performers huddled in alleys along the 16th Street Mall, the video covers just about everything that makes the state unique. And while the narration may get a little carried away in places (even the most devoted Denverites have probably never described Colfax Avenue as a mother’s hip, “where she balances her children”) the video is every bit as ambitious, gorgeous and awestruck a tribute as you would hope a love letter to the Mile High City and its environs would be.
