SILVERTHORNE, Colo. — The Colorado Department of Transportation warned drivers of lengthy delays on stretches on mountain roads because of Saturday’s snowstorm.

At 1:20 p.m., CDOT tweeted that heavy traffic was backing up Interstate 70, increasing drive time from Silverthorne to Denver.

People making their way back to Denver can expect to be in traffic between the two cities for about 90 minutes.
