Boulder police investigating home invasion, assault

BOULDER, Colo. — Two suspects are being sought after a home invasion and assault early Saturday morning, the Boulder Police Department said.

The incident took place between 1 a.m. and 3 p.m. at a home in the 300 block of Harvard Lane, police said.

Two suspects entered the home and began assaulting the victim, who was asleep in bed.

Both suspects are described as wearing masks and all black clothing. They possibly left in an unknown colored SUV.

The victim suffered serious head injuries and is undergoing treatment at Boulder Community Health.
