DENVER — The Denver bomb squad responded to check out a report of a suspicious bag on a bus Monday night.

The incident near South Colorado Boulevard and Buchtel Boulevard forced officers to evacuate nearby Dave and Busters along with the movie theater.

A threat came regarding a bus that was at RTD’s Colorado Station at Evans and South Birch Street. That facility was also evacuated and one bus remained blocked off by police.

The bomb squad checked the scene and determined it was safe. Police say they gave the all-clear, and bus and light rail service resumed normal operations by  10:15 p.m.

Officers say one person, a passenger on the bus, was in custody.
