Body of woman found along Boulder Creek, police say

BOULDER, Colo. — A woman’s body was discovered Friday evening in the vicinity of the Boulder Creek Path underpass.

Boulder police Sgt. Barry Hartkopp told the Daily Camera that officers were dispatched to the underpass near the intersection of Arapahoe Avenue and Broadway at approximately 8:45 p.m. Friday on reports of an unresponsive woman.

Hartkopp said the victim was confirmed dead shortly after authorities arrived on scene.

Officials from the Boulder County Coroner’s Office along with police will investigate this case, said Hartkopp. He added that no foul play is suspected.

Hartkopp told the newspaper the Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name as well as cause and manner of her death.
