DENVER — A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning, the Denver Police Department said.
The crash happened near South Sheridan Boulevard and West Dartmouth Avenue about 8:15 a.m., police said. No description of a vehicle was provided.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated. The name, age and gender of the bicyclist were not released.
While officers were investigating the hit-and-run, another vehicle crashed into a patrol car that was parked at the scene. It’s believed sun glare was to blame.
The driver of that vehicle stayed at the scene and the car was later towed.
