Bicyclist dies after hitting parked truck in Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A man died after he appeared to hit the back of a parked truck on Saturday, the Fort Collins Police Department said.

According to police, a 56-year-old man was found unresponsive in the 3600 block of Seneca Street about 10:25 a.m. The victim appeared to have collided with the back of a parked truck.

He was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead.

The man’s identity will be released after his next of kin have been notified.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
