AURORA, Colo. -- Four jurors from the Aurora theater shooting trial are speaking out for the first time.

But it's not about the trial but to raise awareness for a victims' memorial garden.

The city of Aurora has set aside land near City Hall for the garden. Victims' family members have been trying to raise the necessary funds, but between their grief and the trauma of the recent trial they have not made much progress.

The four jurors, who get together to support each other, said when they heard that, they decided to lend their help.

They have set a goal of raising $200,000 by Dec. 4 and are asking the community to help.

Heather Dearman, Veronica Moser Sullivan's cousin, said this means the world to victims. She said the victims' families want to make something positive out of the tragedy, and a memorial garden can be a place of beauty and peace.
