DENVER — Three victims of the Aurora theater shooting said their rights under the Victims’ Rights Act have been violated. They want to know where the killer is being held.
They filed an official complaint against the Colorado Department of Corrections for not telling them.
On Friday, a subcommittee met to decide whether or not a violation of victims’ rights had taken place. Committee members found there was not a violation and the location of the shooter remains a secret.
A separate complaint has been filed about how those victims were treated.
