AURORA, Colo. -- The proposed red light camera ban that's currently before the Colorado Senate is coming under fire from the Aurora Police Department.

Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates says the cameras are about protecting people -- saving lives -- and not so much about the revenue they generate.

He says they have the video to prove it. See some of it in Julie Hayden's video report.
