AURORA, Colo. -- Multiple units at an apartment complex in Aurora were affected by a fire early Saturday morning, according to the Aurora Fire Department.

The fire department tweeted about a two-alarm fire at Carson Apartments off of Iowa Drive.

One unit was damaged by the fire and 17 other units were damaged by smoke, the Aurora firefighters reported Saturday afternoon. They added that approximately 60 people had initially been misplaced by the blaze -- a later tweet indicated that many residents found places to stay, leaving 21 displaced.
