Three killed in head-on crash west of Livermore in Larimer County

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — Three people were killed in a head-on crash in Larimer County on Tuesday night.

Colorado State Patrol spokesman Nate Reid said a moving van traveling east on Red Feather Lakes Road nine miles west of Livermore crossed into the westbound lanes and crashed into a Ford Ranger pickup truck about 8:15 p.m.

Two men in the pickup died and one person in the van was killed. Two other men were taken to Medical Center of the Rockies in unknown condition.

The road was closed while the Colorado State Patrol conducted an investigation.
