ASPEN, Colo. — Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, faces charges in connection with a disturbance and drug arrest in Aspen in December.

The Aspen Times reports Mueller was charged with intention to distribute cocaine along with possession of cocaine, four grams or less. Both charges are felonies. The prosecutor also charged her with third-degree assault.

Mueller is accused of assaulting a woman at the Belly Up nightclub on Dec. 2, 2011. Police caught up with Mueller while she was dancing at another downtown Aspen night spot.

Police say she had cocaine with her when they arrested early in the morning of Dec. 3. She posted $11,000 bond and was released.

Published reports say Mueller just completed an intensive three-month long drug and alcohol treatment program in Sundance, Utah. She returned to Los Angeles earlier this week.

One of Mueller’s attorneys, Yale Galanter, told the Times she is complying with the conditions of her release from custody and she is doing “phenomenally well.”

Her first court appearance is scheduled for March 5, but it’s likely to be rescheduled for another date.

Mueller and Charlie Sheen divorced in May 2011. They have twin sons together.

Sheen was arrested on Christmas Day 2009 in Aspen after an alleged domestic dispute with Mueller. He later pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge.

The former star of the CBS sitcom “Two and a Half Men” has a new comedy that is about to start production. “Anger Management” begins shooting March 22 according to E! News. The show will air on cable on FX.
