2 injured in overnight shooting in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. — A man and a woman were injured after being shot early Thursday morning, the Aurora Police Department said.

The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. near Chester Street and 17th Avenue.

Both people suffered nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.

The man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital. It’s unknown how many times the woman was shot.

Police have not released any information about a possible suspect.
