Thursday features the highest chance of rain all week as the Monsoon sends a plume of moisture across Colorado.

The chance of rain and t-storms is 70 percent in Denver, Boulder, Loveland and Fort Collins.  We can expect highs around 84.

The Mountains can expect a high chance for rain and thunderstorms by 11 a.m.; highs will hit the hit 70s and 80s.

The main risks today are flash flooding, small hail, and lightning.  Any one thunderstorm could drop 1 inch of rainfall.

As for the Billy Joel concert tonight: Take a rain jacket.  There’s a high chance for rain until 8 p.m. then drier; temps will fall into the 70s.

The chance of rain on Friday drops to 50% with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Looking ahead to Saturday and Sunday, we’ll see dry conditions and a sunny start to the day before a 30% chance of afternoon t-storms.  Highs around 88.

The chance of rain and thunderstorms drops to 20% on Monday.
