LONGMONT, Colo. -- A reddish, rusty color started showing up in the water of the St. Vrain River in Longmont recently.

It has mostly disappeared now, but it caused FOX31 Denver and others to wonder "what's the cause?"

Reporter Dave Young found that last fall's Colorado floods played a big role. Everywhere you look, the flood's devastation is evident seven months later.
