DENVER — The nation’s largest single dog walk is this weekend in Denver.

The Furry Scurry is also the largest fundraiser for the Dumb Friends League, said spokesman Chris Gallegos.

This is the 20th year for the walk, which involves over 12,000 pet lovers and about 5,000 dogs in Washington Park.

The Dumb Friends League hopes to raise $1 million this weekend for programs and services.

The two mile walk starts at 9 a.m. and registration opens at 7 a.m. Participants should enter the park at South Franklin Street and E. Mississippi Avenue.
