BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) — Officials say 32 people were injured, three critically, after a bus crashed into an overpass on Saturday night.

The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. on Soldiers Field Road.

Mass. State Police say bus hit the Western Ave. overpass. They say the bus was too high for the roadway.

The bus was headed to Pennsylvania from Harvard. Boston fire officials say 42 people were on board. All passengers were removed from the bus by 9 p.m. The MBTA took all uninjured passengers away from the scene.

The Boston Fire Department tweeted that at least 60 firefighters were at the scene and many emergency responders assisted.

Mass. State Police were investigating the crash.
