LONGMONT, Colo. — A second teenager died Tuesday as a result of a stabbing this weekend at a party in Longmont.

Jerrad Wallace, 18, died at Longmont United Hospital after being removed from life support, said Longmont Police Department spokesman Jeff Satur.

Brain Farmer, 19, had already died on the scene early Sunday during a brawl at a party in Longmont, the police reported.

Farmer and Wallace were two of three people stabbed in a fight in the 700 block of Francis Street, police said. A third teen, 18-year-old Trevor Dolifka, was also stabbed and is recovering in an area hospital.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Dolifka was reported to be conscious and talking.

About 20 people in their teens and early 20s were partying at the home, consuming alcohol and marijuana, when the scuffle broke out in front of the building at about 2 a.m., police said.

The stabbing suspect, 20-year-old Secundino Martinez of Frederick, was arrested at a Longmont Walmart after fleeing the scene, LPD said. He is being held on one count of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder.

Longmont police said they may have found the knife used in the attacks. According to Satur, a woman called police to her home in the 700 block of Francis Street where officer found a knife in the back yard.

The knife will be tested to find out for sure if it was the one used in the stabbings.
