Two firefighters injured at Cherry Hills Village house fire

CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, Colo. — A house fire broke out in a Cherry Hills Village neighborhood on Saturday afternoon.

Flames were coming from the attic at a home on Sedgwick Drive around 1:30 p.m.

Two firefighters from South Metro Fire Department were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, the department said.

Their condition was not immediately known. Multiple agencies responded to the fire.  The cause of the fire was under investigation.
