2 car theft suspects arrested in Parker after search

PARKER, Colo. — Two car theft suspects were arrested early Thursday morning, the Parker Police Department said.

Police set up a perimeter in the Horse Creek neighborhood near Chambers and Hess roads about 6 a.m. Deputies and K-9 with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office were brought in to help in the search.

About 6:45 a.m., police said one person had been taken into custody and they were breaking down the perimeter. About a half-hour later, police said the second suspect had been taken into custody.

Police said the vehicle that was stolen was from the Englewood area.
