EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating the deaths of two teenagers found Sunday morning.

The bodies of a male and female were discovered along Old Pueblo Road near Hanover Road, the sheriff’s office said.

A man driving by saw the bodies of a man and woman on the side of the road and called 911 at 8:45 a.m.

Hanover was closed from Old Pueblo Road to Interstate 25.

The sheriff’s office confirmed Monday the bodies found have been identified as a teenage juvenile male and a teenage juvenile female.

The names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

There is no suspect information, but authorities ask anyone in the area who notices something out of the ordinary to call the sheriff’s office at 719-390-5555.
