AURORA, Colo. — A 16-year-old boy was shot Thursday afternoon near Parklane Park in Aurora, the Aurora Police Department said.
Police said a male juvenile was shot at 12000 E. Park Lane Drive and a suffered nonlife-threatening injuries about 1:40 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found the teenage victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
Investigators were unable to get a full statement from the victim but determined there were multiple known suspects. Police had not released any suspect information as of Thursday evening.

Park Lane Elementary, Paris Elementary and North Middle schools were on lockdown after the shooting, but the lockdowns were lifted by 3:30 p.m.
