GOLDEN, Colo. – More than 300 climbers and hikers gathered into 58 teams Saturday with one goal in mind—to summit the state’s 14,000-foot peaks to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Colorado Mountain Club.

Founded in 1912, the group now has several chapters throughout Colorado and organizes approximately 3,000 outings each year.
