Aurora Fire had some water supply problems, but those problems didn't affect the way firefighters fought the fire.

An investigation revealed unattended cooking was the cause.  The fire was quickly taken under control. Firefighters were able to completely knock down the fire by 8:15 p.m.

One dog died in the fire despite attempts to revive it by the Aurora Fire Rescue.
