    BOULDER, Colo. – A suspect was in police custody after assault on multiple vehicles in the Boulder area, authorities reported.   • Beefcakes, local dog shot by owner, up for adoption

    LONGMONT, Colo. — The Colorado dog who was shot in the head this summer is recovering and up for adoption on Monday. Beefcakes was brought to Longmont Humane Society in July after suffering from a gunshot to his head. A bullet was lodged in the dog’s jaw and his jaw bone was fractured in multiple locations, according to Boulder officials this summer.  He has undergone several surgeries to repair bone damage and is healing nicely, the Humane Society reported.     Overnight shooting in Denver under investigation

    DENVER — A shooting overnight was under investigation on Monday morning. The incident happened at East 12th Avenue and Colorado Blvd. One person was taken to the hospital and was reportedly in stable condition. There was no suspect information available. Investigation of this incident remains ongoing.

    NORTHGLENN, Colo. – A police officer in Northglenn shot and injured a suspect at a traffic stop early Saturday morning.     DENVER — Denver Police were called to Denver School of Technology and Science on Thursday morning on report of possible person with a gun nearby.     DENVER —  An officer-involved shooting occurred Monday afternoon in the 1100 block of Bellaire Street, the Denver Police Department said. A commander said officers were called to an apartment building for a burglary in process. Shots were fired by an officer but did not hit anyone, police said.  The suspect did not fire any shots.
