Aristea Brady joined FOX31 Denver as an anchor in April 2014. She currently co-anchors FOX31 Denver News at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. with Jeremy Hubbard.

She is a familiar face to the Denver area, having worked at KUSA several years ago before leaving to work at WCCO, the CBS affiliate in Minneapolis.

Aristea is a Colorado native who was born and raised in Greenwood Village. She has a large extended family in Craig on the Western Slope, where they operate a sheep and cattle ranch and where she spent her summers growing up.

Aristea has won multiple Emmy awards for a broad range of stories, including breaking news, in-depth enterprise reports and health news.

Before WCCO and KUSA, Aristea held both morning and evening anchor positions at KTVX, the ABC affiliate in Salt Lake City. She also worked as a reporter at WKYT, the CBS affiliate in Lexington while in college.

Aristea is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she double majored in broadcast journalism and legal studies and minored in business.

Aristea and her husband welcomed twins to the world in March of 2016! She says motherhood is her most rewarding and challenging pursuit yet. When Aristea isn’t spending time with her “big fat Greek family,” you can find her working hard on her hobby of interior decorating.
