Western Slope child molester sentenced to 140 years to life in prison

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — A 51-year-old former school bus driver on the Western Slope has been sentenced to 140 years to life in prison for molesting children.

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports that Faye A. Morosini was sentenced Monday by Mesa County Chief District Judge Brian Flynn.

According to police, Morosini coerced several children into performing sex acts on one another and with Morosini, and, in at least one incident, with a stranger.

Morosini is a former school bus driver in Mesa County Valley District 51, but a district official previously said none of the victims were students associated with her job as a driver for district schools.

Morosini was convicted on 13 counts, including sexual assault on a child as a pattern of abuse and from a position of trust.
