Weather-related ground stop lifted at DIA

DENVER — The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop at Denver International Airport Friday afternoon due to severe weather in the area.

The airport tweeted about the ground stop about 2:30 p.m.

Shortly before 3 p.m., the ground stop was lifted.

Several watches and warnings are in place for northern and northeastern Colorado.
