Thousands crowd stores Thursday night to start holiday shopping season

DENVER -- Many stores opened their doors Thursday night to officially kick off the holiday shopping season.

Thousands of Coloradans jumped at the chance to start crossing items off of their lists.

The new Denver Premiums Outlets said the parking lot was 95 percent full by 9:30 p.m. Thanksgiving night.
