I-25 reopens near Erie after rollover crash kills 64-year-old man

ERIE, Colo. — A man was killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 25 near Erie on Monday, the Colorado State Patrol said.

The crash about 12:25 p.m. closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 25 between exits 232 (Dacono/Erie) and 235 (Colorado Highway 52).

A 64-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, the Colorado State Patrol said.

Significant backups were reported on both directions of the interstate. The interstate reopened later Monday afternoon.
