DENVER — Six women were injured in a stabbing outside a nightclub early Thursday morning, the Denver Police Department said.

The stabbing happened just after 12:30 a.m. outside Lit Nightclub at 1410 Market St. in Lower Downtown.

Three of the women were taken to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries and the other three took themselves to a hospital.

Police said the women were in two separate groups that got into an altercation with each other.

Police said at least one person took out a knife during the altercation and that’s how the six were wounded.

Police are trying to determine who within the group of six should be considered a suspect. No arrests have been made.
