25th anniversary of Pope John Paul II’s visit to Denver remembered

DENVER -- Twenty-five years ago the Catholic youth of the world were invited to Denver for six days of World Youth Day activities that included a visit from Pope John Paul II and President Bill Clinton.

It was a remarkable success. But there were big concerns leading up to the event.
