DENVER -- Showers and thunderstorms will be around the Front Range, including Denver, on Thursday evening.
The storms will be scattered, meaning not everyone will benefit from the rain. Some of the storms might contain gusty winds, small hail and brief heavy rain. Additionally, temperatures are noticeably cooler thanks to cloud cover.
Friday will bring another round of scattered storms. Temperatures will stay in the 80s as a result of the storms.
Temperatures return to the 90s over the weekend. However, they will be in the low 90s, not the scorching mid- to upper 90s of late. There also might be an isolated storm or two, but conditions will be dry overall.
Temperatures cool down again early next week with better storm chances on Monday and Tuesday.
