One lane of westbound Interstate 70 in Eagle County reopens after mudslide

EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. — A mudslide closed one lane of westbound Interstate 70 at mile marker 168 on Sunday evening, the Colorado State Patrol said.

The Eagle River Fire Department said the mudslide closed Nottingham Road and halted traffic on the interstate just after 5 p.m.

Crews worked to clean up the slide. The interstate reopened at 6 p.m. and Nottingham Road reopened just before 7:30 p.m.
