One dead, one in custody after Thornton shooting

THORNTON, Colo. -- A dispute led to a deadly shooting on Tuesday night, the Thornton Police Department said.

The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. in the 4600 block of East 106th Drive.

Police said a dispute between neighbors led to the shooting. The suspect remained at the scene, police said.

The name, age and gender of the suspect were not released. The identity of the victim will be released by the Adams County Coroner's Office pending notification of next of kin.


What led to the shooting is under investigation.
