Police respond to shooting at 30th and Vallejo in Denver

DENVER — One person was injured in a shooting at West 30th Avenue and Vallejo Street in Denver Friday afternoon.

Police said the victim went to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Investigators did not have any information to release about a suspect.

There was a large police response to the neighborhood and people were asked to avoid the area during the investigation.
