Body found near west parking garage at DIA

DENVER — Authorities discovered a dead body near the west parking garage at Denver International Airport on Thursday afternoon, the Denver Police Department said.

The body was discovered in a small area near an electrical box. Police said the body was an adult female and the death was not considered to be suspicious.

It is unknown how the woman died and it is unknown how long the body was there before it was discovered.

Authorities are investigating.

The airport continued to operate normally, an airport spokesman said.
