Death of man found inside west Denver home investigated as homicide

DENVER — Police launched a homicide investigation after responding to a call about a death inside a home in west Denver on Friday.

Officers were called to a house in the area of West Florida Avenue and South Patton Court around 3 a.m. Friday.

On Monday, the victim was identified as 24-year-old Logan Kelly, the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner said. The cause of the victim’s death was from sharp force injuries.

Police continue to investigate the homicide and have not released any suspect information.
