Broncos sign 9 players to practice squad

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos on Sunday signed nine players to their practice squad, the team announced.

All nine players competed with the Broncos during training camp. The team still has one open spot on its practice squad.

The team signed center Dillon Day; linebackers Jerrol Garcia-Williams and Deiontrez Mount; defensive tackle Tyrique Jarrett; cornerback Marcus Rios; receiver Hunter Sharp; defensive back Dymonte Thomas; tight end Austin Taylor; and tackle Elijah Wilkinson.

Popular quarterback Kyle Sloter, who was cut on Saturday, was signed by the Minnesota Vikings to their practice squad.
