DENVER — A 9-year-old boy who was reported missing in Denver Monday night was found safe Tuesday morning.

Tyron Pembrook was last seen near East 36th Avenue and Leyden Street at about 7:30 p.m. Monday.

A little after 8:30 a.m., Pembrook’s uncle told FOX31 Denver the boy had been found safe at a park nearby. It appeared the boy was in the back seat of the car, reporter Jim Hooley said.

Denver police later confirmed the boy had been found.
