Police conduct homicide investigation after man found dead at private security business

DENVER — Police conducted a homicide investigation in north Denver early Friday morning after a man was found dead at a private security business late Thursday night.

The Denver Police Department was called to Front Range Patrol in the 4200 block of North Milwaukee Street about 11 p.m. Thursday to conduct a welfare check.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male dead. Police first said it was a death investigation, then said it was being treated as a homicide.

The name and age of the victim have not been released. Police have not said what the cause and manner of the death are or if they are looking for any suspects.

Front Range Patrol provides private security services to commercial and residential customers in the Denver metro area.
