Vehicle submerged in Garfield Lake in southwest Denver

DENVER — No one was found inside a vehicle that was submerged in Garfield Lake on Thursday morning, the Denver Fire Department said.

The vehicle was reported in the lake at 3600 W. Mississippi Avenue just before 6 a.m.

Rescue divers went into the water and determined no one was inside.


Crews worked to retrieve the vehicle out of the water.
