BROOMFIELD, Colo. — A moose wandering around Flatiron Crossing on Monday morning was tranquilized and relocated, the Broomfield Police Department said.

The moose was bedded down near the Men’s Wearhouse on East Flatirons Crossing Drive before being tranquilized by Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials about 10 a.m.

The male moose was about 2 or 3 years old and was relocated on June 18 after appearing in Arvada.

Wildlife officers will relocate the moose farther away in the hopes it won’t return.
