6 children found after getting lost near Topaz Mountain

PARK COUNTY, Colo. — Six children who got lost while camping near Topaz Mountain in Park County on Sunday were found safe, the Park County Sheriff’s Office said.

The children were camping with their parents, according to officials. The children, who are between the ages of 6 and 14 years old, were out for a walk when they got lost, the sheriff’s office said.

The children went missing around 1:50 p.m. and were about 5:20 p.m. They were found safe at Tarryall Reservoir.
