DENVER -- The early-season success of the Colorado Rockies is great news for businesses operating near Coors Field.

The Rockies are averaging more than 36,000 fans per game and attendance jumps to near capacity on weekends. That means tickets can be hard to come by at the stadium.

Nearby bars and restaurants are also benefiting, with packed house, even on weeknights.

"We are used to them doing well in the beginning, then teetering off," said Hianna Feis, the manager at the Viewhouse. "But this year, they are doing well and as they do well, we see more business."
