DENVER -- Storms with lightning and rain moved into the Denver metro area late Wednesday night.

The lightning forced officials to delay the Metallica concert that was taking place at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Thousands of fans in the stadium were told to seek shelter until the storm passed.

The all-clear was given just after 10 p.m. as the lightning and storms moved east. The Phoenix concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre was also delayed for a short time.
