Fire damages Thornton duplex; everyone escapes safely

THORNTON, Colo. -- A home went up in flames Wednesday afternoon, the Thornton Fire Department said.

The man who shared a video clip he shot said he helped get two people out of the burning duplex at West 88th Avenue and Lipan Street.

Everyone got out safely and firefighters quickly extinguished the flames.

Investigators were looking into how it started.
