2.9M Earthquake hits near Glenwood Springs

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, CO: A 2.9 magnitude earthquake hit roughly 19 miles northwest of town at 11:14pm on Christmas night.  There are no reports of damage.

Silt, CO resident Bernie Boettcher was backcountry skiing in the area where the earthquake occurred the day before.  Bernie’s photo shows the rugged beauty of the area.
