FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Four family members were able to safely escape an early-morning house fire in Fort Collins on Monday, the Poudre Fire Authority said.
Crews were called to fire in the two-story, single-family home in the 500 block of Sycamore Street about 12:30 a.m.
The fire was brought under control by 1:20 a.m., but crews stayed on the scene to put out hot spots that were within the walls, officials said.
The Poudre Fire Authority’s Customer Assistance Response Team helped the family with resources, including with the Red Cross and a restoration company.
The home suffered moderate fire and smoke damage throughout. There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
